So what's everyone doing for Chaucer and Gower? I'm a bit clueless about that too. The questions for A3(a) seem mostly thematic and general, and I haven't looked at A3(b) yet. So, for paper (a) I'm thinking...
1. instability of authority and meaning
2. structure or something- maybe "genre"
How are you two planning this paper?

Well, I'm dividing my topics into texts, and each text has a particular leaning... In general, my topics are based on social/political context, and on issues of textuality. :)
Btw, I wanted to ask, it seems for A3a, we'll have to write two essays, each in an hour and half. Then for A3b, it's one essay in two hours... am I right about this, or have I confused the rubric? :S
Good luck with all your Chaucer and Gower stuff! :)
xxxxx
